Life Member Vietnam Veterans of america

As a Life member of Vietnam Veterans of America Chapter 17 I am completely fed up with the way the Board of Directors is attacking our current President ever since Tom George lost the last election. Also the way the Board of Directors is trying to run this chapter with absolutely no regard for how our membership feels about what they are doing. For an example, when we were working on a new set of bylaws one of the BOD made a statement that it was a waste of time and money to notify our members on this subject, and the said bylaws were not done by an appointed committee, an were rushed through with the intent on limiting who can run for office, and after the second reading they only wanted a yes or no vote with no discussion.

Now to the Open House meeting just before the meeting started Our Chapter Sargent of the Arms Mike Giancola threatened our President Richard Small by saying he was going knock him out out loud and in front of our members and guest. I am of the belief that this is in direct violation of our National Constitution.  I think that his actions should be reported to Mr. Charlies Hobbs National membership director. This kind of things has gone on ever since our election in 2014. All I saw from these people is when they wanted something done; they used bullying tactics to accomplish what they wanted.

Of the four Chapters that I belong too of the Vietnam Veteran of America this is the only one that does not have a plan in place for growth of its membership, and does not have a financial plan in place either.

The Committees they have are finance, public relations, fundraising, None of these committees do not meet to formulate any kind of a plan to do what they were formed for. It looks like they are on a path of self destruction. O and they do not have a membership committee!!!!!!.

This is just one person view and may not be the view any other vva member.
