Ya' know, every once in a while something comes along that is just perfect!!!
We are here on earth to do good unto others. What the others are here for, I have no idea.

Subject: VIDEO: I just felt so hopeless

Dear Robert,
One of the biggest parts of our mission at DVNF is to support like-minded organizations. We strive to empower them, and equip them with the tools they need to give the intensive support to veterans in their communities.
That's why we were truly humbled when we received an update from our friends at Easter Seals New York. They were in need of funding for their specialized program for veterans in need in their area, and we gave them a grant to help out.
After thanking DVNF and our donors for our assistance, a representative at Easter Seals wanted to show us how our support helped to change the life of a young woman who was the victim of military sexual trauma, and eventually ended up homeless.
"I didn't want to kill myself, but I just felt so hopeless that I didn't want to be here anymore."
These powerful words resonated loudly in this video, and are a reminder of why your gifts are so important to veterans all throughout the country. So I ask that you please consider giving today. With a gift of $25, $50, or even $100, you can help us to ensure that organizations are prepared to meet the delicate needs of veterans like Shaneece.
Thank you for you continued support,
Joseph VanFonda (USMC SgtMaj Ret.)
CEO
