and suddenly you are doing the impossible.

Dear Robert,
Dave Riley was in a coma when his wife had to make the decision for doctors to amputate his limbs.
What happened next is proof that your support of DAV is so critically important, Robert.
"Initially, it wasn't that bad, but then it wore on me through the years," Dave says about losing both his arms and legs.
To me and you, skiing might not seem life-changing. But empowerment came when—with no hands or feet—he skied down a mountain at the Winter Sports Clinic, cosponsored by DAV.
"Without the DAV I don't believe I would be here. I was at a point so low and they turned my life around and gave me purpose again. Supporting the DAV, you can save somebody's life."
Dave is talking about you, Robert. You can be the difference between life and death for veterans who aren't sure if they can carry on. Not only do you save lives, you change them for the better.
Despair turned into destiny for Dave. "Helping veterans—that's why I was left here, and this is the best organization to do that. That's why I'm with the DAV."
How about you? Are you with DAV? Your support matters to veterans like Dave. Please make a gift of $25, $50, or $100 now.
Thank you for your support,
